Internships

I've been able to participate in a few different local church internships over the years.

MRBC Music Ministry Intern

During the Summer of 2023, I was able to serve as the Music Ministry Intern at Mission Road Bible Church in Prairie Village, Kansas. I got extensive experience leading Sunday mornings, doing administrative tasks, arranging for string ensemble, and putting on a kids concert. I also was a part of the Ascend Camp band playing cello.

Sovereign Grace Church of Louisville Intern

While at school at Boyce College, I have been able to intern with Bob Kauflin (Director of Sovereign Grace Music) every Thursday night at his house for the past 3+ years. We have been able to lead countless worship sets of a few songs and scriptures, and workshop it all together to help improve our worship leading skills. Bob Kauflin has been an invaluable resource in my worship leading journey.

Ascend Camp Intern

For the past 3 years, me and a couple other interns have been put in charge of a game crew of around 25 volunteers game crew leaders to plan and execute a church summer camp from the ground up. This includes a couple months of tedious planning, team management, and extensive knowledge of the all the activities at this 5-day camp for 1,000 high school students. I was able to lead rallies, games, tournaments, and other camp activities.
